Another super easy. Pumpkin is the base of this puree and now you can have very healthy and organic solid for your infant or toddler. Specifically for this recipe was used hokkaido pumpkin. How many ingredients will you need for this pumpkin puree? Just one after all, and that's organic hokkaido pumpkin (other types of pumpkin can be also used but the taste will be distinct) and probably infant water if you don't want it to be completely rigid. Personally, I used infant water because pumpkin doesn't have that much water in it and I wouldn't be able to blend it at all.

ORGANIC baby puree from hokkaido pumpkin

Part 1: List of ingredients

Prepare

  • Hokkaido pumpik - organic

  • Infant water

Part 2: Recipe procedure

  1. First, wash the hokkaido pumpkin. The quantity depends on your needs. Then peel the pumpkin, do not leaving the skin on, and remove also the inner part of the pumpkin, including the seeds, and then chop everything.

  2. Prepare a pot and throw in the chopped pumpkin and add some baby water. Cook everything until soft, depending on the quantity and intensity. In my case, I cooked everything for about 40 minutes on low heat.

  3. Once everything is soft, take a hand blender and blend everything finely. While blending, add a little more baby water in case it is needed.

  4. Fill the prepared jars with the blended mixture and close tightly.

  5. Place a cloth or tea towel in the bottom of the large pot in which you will be preserving the mixture and cover it with water. Wait until the water starts to boil and then let the water boil for another 2 hours or so to let the food cook and keep.

  6. Once it is done take the jars out, wipe them, describe what is in them and decorate them.

  7. Ideally, keep it in a cooler place until you need to use it.

Serve everything to the children cold or slightly warmed and add few drops of your prefered organic oil. After opening the jar, use it within the next day at most in case it is kept in the fridge.
